“Physics is the foundation of all science. If you understand physics, you understand science”
This one-of-a-kind course introduces strong physics fundamentals to students in a never before seen way: conceptually.
And the best part? No math.
Most education programs and school curriculums teach science using complicated math equations first and then try it explain it with more math.
We instead focus on concepts first and make sure students understand them intuitively. Then we introduce a simple equation at the very end. But by then, students understand the concepts so well, they feel they could have derived it themselves.
This way of teaching not only helps students retain information, they also deeply understand it and have a foundation to build off of. Once they go off to high school, they will be much more prepared to take on advanced, AP, IB, and whatever else.
Lessons:
6 Total Lessons, 1 Lesson every Saturday. 1.5 Hrs each
Lesson 1: Atoms in Motion
Lesson 2: Physics in Motion
Lesson 3: The Relation of Physics to Other Sciences
Lesson 4: Conservation of Energy
Lesson 5: The Theory of Gravitation
Lesson 6: Quantum Behaviour
Recommended Ages:
5th – 8th graders
However, concepts will be conceptual and introductory,
so open to any and all students curious / interested in learning physics
